As WWE continues to talk about its next big rights deal for Raw and SmackDown, another deal is more imminent.

All WWE content on Hulu will be taken down on Saturday, September 25, as their deal for day after rights for Raw & SmackDown is set to expire.

This content includes episodes from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, Main Event, Total Divas, Total Bellas, and more. Currently, almost all WWE content on Hulu has an ‘Exp. sat flag

Mike Johnson of PWInsider said talks are still ongoing as they try to broker a new deal.

Hulu (about 46 million subscribers) is primarily owned by Disney (67%), with NBCUniversal holding the remaining stake. Disney and NBCUniversal are partners of WWE to varying degrees, while Hulu and WWE have been partners for ten years.

In calls with investors, WWE co-CEO Nick Khan spoke about several intriguing aspects of the company’s rights, one of which is second-day rights for Raw and SmackDown.

Based on industry trends, he expects more bidders for WWE content in the coming years as streaming services get more involved in the mix.
