Tulare Council Member Sigala Endorses Jevon Award for Tulare Local Health District Council
Tulare Council Member Jose Sigala announced his support for Jevon Price running to serve on the Tulare local health district board and urging voters to vote for him on November 8.e.

Jevon Price has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. For the past 15 years, he has worked in hospital management and leadership, helping to guide the successful delivery of health care to the community. Jevon began his healthcare career as an EMT and healthcare educator. He was an American Heart Association leader in the Central Valley.

“I am pleased to announce my support for Jevon Price running for community service on the local hospital board,” Sigala said.

Council member Sigala was one of the few local elected officials in the city and county of Tulare who came to terms early on with the corrupt leadership and mismanagement of the hospital that ultimately threatened the hospital’s closure.

“I know firsthand how important it is to have administrators who will stand up for the community. I was an early supporter of Kevin Northcraft and Mike Jamaica who ran for the board to end corruption. I was also a supporter of Kumar’s recall and a strong supporter of Senovia Gutierrez. I firmly believe that Jevon will also be a strong advocate for our hospital, as will Kevin, Mike and Senovia,” Sigala continued.

Jevon’s plans when elected include:

  • Increase ACCESS to better healthcare choices for all of Tulare
  • Reduce unnecessary and dubious spending of taxpayers’ bond money
  • Building TRUST in our health district
  • Continuing relationships and partnerships already established with local health care and mental health officials and legislators
  • Bringing a greater variety of health services to more residents of Tulare Health District
  • Increase workforce training and job creation for the Tulare healthcare community

“I am proud to have worked with many community leaders to help get rid of corrupt management and board members who threatened to shut down our hospital. I helped lead the city’s effort to save our hospital. Jevon is someone I trust to make sure our hospital stays open in Tulare. I have full confidence in his experience and leadership to safeguard our community’s hospital,” added Sigala.

Please come out and vote on November 8e for Jevon Price,” Sigala concluded.
