Kanye West shared another somber message on Instagram, joking that Adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted is “dead”.

Weeks after being forced to remove a similar upload on Pete Davidson, rapper Praise God returned to the social media platform, reacting to the news that Kasper will step down in 2023.

Taking to his profile, the 45-year-old posted a fake New York Times front page, with the headline: “Kasper Rorsted also dead at 60”.

The father-of-four took more aim at the businessman in fine print, while bringing Kid Cudi back into the mix.

“I know what you’re thinking… who is Kasper?” he added. “But even less important, who is Kid Cudi? »

The post can still be seen on Kanye’s page at the time of writing, with the caption: ‘God loves us’.

Kasper’s departure from Adidas was confirmed last week, six years after joining the sports brand.

He is expected to step down next year and will remain in charge until a replacement is appointed.

Supervisory Board Chairman Thomas Rabe announced the news in a statement via Bloomberg; “After three difficult years that have been marked by the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and geopolitical tensions, now is the right time to begin a CEO transition and pave the way for a restart.

Ye has previously taken aim at Adidas on social media, claiming the brand produced a shoe that was a “blatant copycat” of its Yeezy slides – something bosses have not publicly addressed.

He called the decision ‘disrespectful’ and urged Kasper to ‘come and talk to him’ about the designs – but it’s unclear whether a conversation took place.

The Grammy winner made headlines last month when he celebrated the news that his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, had split from former partner Pete, whom he calls Skete.

In an article that was deleted soon after, he used the same NYT front page format, with the mock headline reading instead: “Skete Davidson dead at 28.”

“Kid Cudi wanted to play at the funeral but was scared of bottle throwers,” a message added at the bottom.

It was later revealed that Kim begged her ex to take down the photo and was upset behind the scenes.

“Kim tried to get Kanye to take it off and vigorously defended Pete,” an insider tells Us.

“She cares about him very much and will continue to defend him.”
