On August 26, Ronnie Sloan, CEO of Outer Banks Hospital, announced that Outer Banks Urgent Care Centers are available to handle prescription refills for people who do not have a primary care provider.
The City of Manteo and the Health Care Task Force are excited to hear this announcement and encourage members of our community looking for prescription drug refills to contact an Outer Banks Urgent Care Center. Contact details for Urgent Care Centers are provided below.
“The issue of prescription refills has been one of the main focus and most important items on the agenda of the healthcare task force and we are very pleased to see this progress happening,” said Malcolm Fearing, chair of the health care task force.
