Tom Brady and the Buccaneers welcomed a special guest at practice Wednesday: the quarterback’s 15-year-old son.
Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, Brady watched his teenage son Jack walk onto the court as the seven-time Super Bowl champion watched proudly.
“My inspiration,” Brady remarked in an Instagram post.
Jack, whom Brady co-parents with his ex, actress Bridget Moynahan, plays free safety for his high school team, as well as some quarterbacks. Brady, 45, then told reporters how much the outing with his son meant to him.
“It’s the best,” Brady said, according to TMZ. “I invited him here for training camp last year which was amazing for a dad. It was quite special. As much as I can be around him, the better.
As well as Jack, Brady is also a proud dad to 12-year-old son Benjamin and 9-year-old daughter Vivian, whom he shares with ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.
After confirming their divorce last month after 13 years of marriage, Brady and Bündchen, 42, said their children remain their top priority.
“We are blessed with beautiful, wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve. We came to this decision to end our marriage after careful consideration,” Brady said in October.
Brady recently spoke on his SiriusXM podcast, “Let’s Go!” how grateful he is to his family at this time of year.
“You know, I consider myself a parent and I’m thankful that Thanksgiving is always a time for family. When you think about those vacations and the commitment that parents and my parents have made to me and my career, it’s amazing. You know what I mean?” Brady remarked.
“It’s just that I’m here for my 23rd season, looking forward to finishing strong here after Thanksgiving, and obviously with a lot of gratitude for the people who have had such a huge impact in my life and have supported me throughout. of this incredible career. And, you know, I just want to be that for my kids. You know, I just want to be the best dad I can be.
Brady and the Buccaneers will travel to Cleveland this weekend for Sunday’s game against the Browns.
