Hilton said the news was “incredibly difficult to publish”, explaining the circumstances of the dog’s disappearance.

“I was at a photoshoot and we’re moving and one of the movers had to leave a door open,” she said. “My family and friends helped me search high and low throughout my neighborhood and knocked door to door, but we still couldn’t find her.”

Noting how she “does everything in [her] the power to get her back,” Hilton said she hired a pet sleuth and was also considering using drones.

Hilton spoke of her despair, saying, “Anyone who has ever loved a pet and lost a pet will understand this pain I feel – my heart is broken.”

She added: ‘I was in tears, so sad and depressed. I feel like a part of me is missing and nothing is the same without her here. Diamond Baby is everything to me, really like a girl to me. We were inseparable, she was my best friend and always by my side.
