King Charles is about to face another royal crisis, as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry could release their Netflix docu-series in a few weeks. Although the title, content and exact release date of the docu-series remain unknown, it will be above the king’s concerns, a royal biographer has said.
Daily Mail columnist and Queen biographer Robert Hardman said King Charles was a “workaholic”.
Palace Confidential host Jo Elvin said it was “good news” as he inherited the “too difficult file”.
Asked which is at the top of the pile, Mr Hardman said: “I think the Duke of Sussex book is a problem, the Sussex movie with Netflix – it’s a problem.
“But similarly to the Queen, he approaches these things as his father taught him when he was in the navy.”
Mr Hardman said: “The storms pass and you keep going.
“And sometimes you have to batten down the hatches.
Despite the royal crises to come, the royal biographer believes that “the main focus is going to be the coronation and after that we will overcome the idea of the novelty of the reign.
“So it becomes a new established order. And I think that’s what’s on his mind the most.”

Netflix still hasn’t acknowledged that a Netflix series is planned, but unnamed sources have revealed that the highly anticipated series could hit the streaming giant as early as December.
Meghan and Harry first signed a multi-year deal with Netflix in September 2020, with the New York Times reporting that the California-based couple will exclusively create documentaries, docuseries, feature films, scripted shows and programs for children for Archwell Productions.
Asked what royal fans can expect from the docuseries, Meghan told Variety: “It’s nice to be able to trust someone with our story – a seasoned director whose work I’ve admired for a long time – even if that means it might not be the way we would have said.
“But that’s not why we’re telling it. We entrust our story to someone else, and that means it will go through its lens.”
