It seems we’re learning something new every hour before Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral on September 19. From last-minute disinvitations to protocol changes, it seems everyone is trying to make his funeral the perfect send-off for Britain’s longest reigning monarch. Even the Prince and Princess of Wales are said to have pondered how to make the most of the long-awaited day, allegedly pondering how to restore faith and hope in the hearts of the British people, as their royal aides say. .
Per Daily Mail, Prince William and Kate Middleton seriously considered bringing their eldest son, Prince George, to the late Queen’s funeral, but for a very calculated reason. It was reported that their aides urged the move to “send a powerful symbolic message to the public about the monarchy” and “reassure the nation about the order of succession”.

Basically, they want George to come and remind everyone that the British royal family line is safe and on the right track.
A new report from Page Six recently revealed that the couple were also considering taking their daughter, Princess Charlotte, to the funeral, but concluded that their youngest, Prince Louis, was too young to attend. We’ll just have to wait and see if we see their faces tomorrow.
