“She’s a lot like a housewife in that she can’t stop talking about the very thing she wants to be irrelevant,” said the The Real Housewives of New York star, 51, said during the Thursday, September 1, episode of her “Just B with Bethenny Frankel” podcast. “[It’s like] when you… want to separate yourself from housewives. “It was toxic, I don’t want to be part of the drama,” or whatever the housewife says. [But] then… for the next five years, always talking about the very thing you’re trying to get out of.

Speaking to the Duchess of Sussex, 41, she continued: “When you leave the Royal Family, leave the Royal Family. You learned something, you said it, we heard you. … and [still] in every interview you do, you talk about the royal family. Drop Elsa. Advance. Create change in the future.

Frankel’s comments come shortly after The cup posted an interview with Markle in which she criticized royal life and its strict rules and protocols. “There is literally a structure by which if you want to post photos of your child, as part of the family, you first have to give them to the Royal Rota,” she told the outlet. last month, as an example of one of the restrictions she struggled with. “Why would I give the very people who call my kids the N-word a picture of my child before I can share it with the people who love my child? You tell me how it makes sense and then I’ll play this game.”

Markle continued: “So we’re going, ‘OK, okay, let’s get out of here. Happy to. This, for some reason, is not something we were allowed to do, although several other family members do just that.

The Duke, 37, and Duchess have been open about their strained relationship with ‘The Firm’ after they announced in January 2022 that they had decided to step down as senior members of the Royal Family. The former military pilot confirmed his wife’s account, saying at the time: “This conversation, I will never share it. It was embarrassing. I was a bit shocked.”

A few days after the interview, the Prince William responded to the accusations by saying, “We’re really not a racist family.”

Frankel, for her part, added that she doesn’t doubt Markle’s allegations of racism within the royal family. “It’s nice that people know that racism exists everywhere, but it’s not something that surprises us,” she said on her podcast. “Like, if you tell me racism exists in the royal family, I’m not overwhelmed with shock.”
