While most seem to see She-Hulk: Lawyer like the silly, fun superhero comedy it’s always presented itself, some feel the show’s lighter, sometimes “goofy” tone is somewhat at odds with other MCU projects, and the show was widely criticized for a perceived lack of fidelity to its source material.

While one could argue that certain aspects of the Disney+ show – its portrayal of Daredevil, for example – took some liberties with the comics, tonally it was quite similar to the interpretation of the majority of Emerald Amazon writers.

Now Dan Slott, who has written more She-Hulk issues than anyone, has stepped in to defend Attorney of backlash, calling it “the MCU’s most comic-accurate show.”

Something else that seemed to piss off a lot of people was the now infamous “twerking” scene, which saw She-Hulk do some gyrations with Megan Thee Stallion.

What do you think? Are any of the reviews valid, or do you share Slott’s take on the show? Be sure to leave us a comment below.
